Coaching for results

Strategic Consultancy

Sandpiper Initiatives provide a strategic response to the development of leadership and management teams and the processes required. This can consist of providing team development coaching sessions, where leadership and management teams find solutions to the problems and challenges they face. We also provide the opportunity for teams to work together more effectively.

Sandpiper Initiatives also provide the strategic development of processes that support the delivery of the required results through developing the engagement and motivation of people in the organisation. Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Conflict can be creative but often becomes destructive. An environment where there is a certain level of challenge and robust discussion can lead to positive outcomes. However conflict can become too personal and a lack of acknowledging, managing and working with difference can be destructive. Sandpiper Initiatives provides a mediation service when there is a breakdown in relationships between people that affects the delivery of the required results.

Sandpiper Initiatives provides two forms of conflict resolution:


  • A structured mediation between two people who are in conflict, this could be used before it has developed into a formal HR process such as a grievance or after an investigation and they are required to work together again.
  • A team coaching response where the work is with the whole team to look at the resolution of the dispute and to encourage difference to be acknowledged and used to deliver results.

Management and Leadership skills development/training

Sandpiper Initiatives provides leadership development for leaders and managers who want to improve their leadership of people. Research suggests that the most successful leaders have high emotional intelligence and are able to build effective relationships. This is the basis of the suite of training offered. Sandpiper Initiatives offers people the opportunity to find successful and emotionally intelligent leadership approaches through developing a coaching style, knowing how to resolve conflict and developing good performance management skills.
